Mindful Beti

Mindful Beti, founded by Rina Cheung, it is a space with the intention to share the joy of learning and practicing mindfulness together.
Mindful Beti does what it says on the tin. Simply bringing your awareness inwards: to the Body, Emotions, Thoughts, and Impulses (BETI). It is the core process of stepping out of our autopilot living, being more engaged in the present moment, and in turn this will help us to cultivate a clearer insight of who we are, to build and sustain resilience, and flourish in our daily lives which is authentic to us.
So how do we be Mindful to our BETI?

Good news: you don't have to sit like a Buddha all day to achieve that!
At Mindful Beti, we offer mindfulness courses that are research and scientifically based. The practices we share are completely inclusive and secular. They include formal sitting practices as well as informal exercises such as movement, listening, seeing and other CBT based exercises. This means you will be able to adapt what we learn together in your daily life.
About Rina

Hello my name is Rina and I am a trauma-informed mindfulness teacher trained in MBCT-L with The Oxford Mindfulness Centre.
In many ways, Mindfulness has always been part of my culture. Being Chinese and spent my formative years growing up in Hong Kong, Mindfulness was embedded in our daily lives. From rituals to our attitudes and values of how we live. It is only when I studied Mindfulness at The Oxford Mindfulness Centre, I started to join the dots together and for the first time understand what it means to me.
Through both formal and informal practices, Mindfulness has been a pillar to support my wellbeing and personal growth. The discoveries, the delights and even the difficulties of my journey continue to spark joy, wonder and curiosity.

I sincerely hope that through our time together, you will be able to gain something out of it. Whether it is something small or a profound insight, or even a "oh no, this is not for me." it will still be part of the many facets of your discoveries.
